a local audio store has a thing going where you can get 2 12" kicker solobaric L7s for 400 bucks but they only have 2 in stock and they are on hold for me and technically the sale went off yesterday but the guy said he would let me have them for that price if i got them by tomorow. I know they are listed on crutchfield for like 375 a piece.  My question is has anyone had any experience with these. I have heard 2 10" solobaric (the black and red ones) in a ford focus hb and they sounded awesome. I am just wandering if they will sound good hooked up to an mtx 1501 D amplifier in an 03 cavalier. I had polk momos that sounded good and one blew so i need something new but ive just never heard how the newer solobarics sounded. These are the silver and blue ones also. Thanks for any input

For the money, go get them. If you don't end up using them you could sell them for a lot more elsewhere i'm sure. I'm not a big fan of kicker but for that price i wouldn't turn it down if i had that kind of cash laying around.
"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.

That is a good price for them. They are good subs. I would get them, just remember though, Crutchfield prices are a lot higher than most stores. Or at the stores in my area. I can get 2 15" L7's for $600 everyday. But the price they are giving you is worth buying them.
