Can anyone tell me how to have the alarm disable the extended accesory feature when after remote startng the remote start is stopped by remote or the timer?  Is there and where would it be located the wire to stop the extended accessory in the 2002 Chevy silverado?  i am guessing this can be done throught hte door trigger since this is what stops it normally?

Also how can i bypass the parking brake wiring?  I don't use the parking brake and without it depressed it won't remote start. Can i just ground this wire from the alarm or does it look for a positive when the brake is depressed?

Thanks  a lot, Ryan

Ryan, you need to check if your system has something like a "factory alarm arm" ouput or something that will pulse whenever the remote start shuts off. THen you can tie that into the door trigger wire just like you said to disable the RAP circuit.

I'm not too sure how the parking brake behaves but it should be easy to meter out. If the parking brake wire goes to ground when it is set, you can just take the wire from your system and ground it out like you thought. That should get you going. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll look at the alarm and see if there is some sort of wire that will ground it out when i shut down.
