My remote entry on my 91 Silverado is a bit off.  The remote works for the driver's side perfectly, but for the passenger's side it just moves the lock up and down but not far enough for it to actually lock or unlock.  I don't know where to start and I don't want to just replace it, so I figured I would ask here.

Thanks in advance.

you could try `loosening up` the actuator...just lift the rubber boot up thats on top of it..and spray some lube in it..wd-40 or white lithium grease..whatever..and move it for a while up and down by hand..it may loosen up.
With a torch and a big enough hammer...it WILL friggin fit!!
