OKay I have a 2000 dodge neon, I have been having issues with hooking up the door lock unlock wires with the proper resistor values.  Basically I want my factory alarm to arm as well as the viper alaram when I lock.  Funny thing is when I only hook up one of the wires either the lock (green off of the 791) or unlock (blue off of the 791)  with a resistor value less than 1 k ohm, I can lock and unlock the doors using just one of the wires off of the alarm unit.  But my car still does not arm from the factory alarm.

On some cars the door locks doesn't arm/disarm the fac. alarm. If this is the case you need to find the fac arm/and disarm wires and tap into those.

Power Lock      lt. green       -       drivers door harness
Notes: Relays are required for both lock and unlock. Lock is negative trigger thru a 1K ohm resistor, unlock is negative thru a 250 ohm resistor. If vehicle has factory alarm, use negative trigger thru a 2.7K ohm resistor for arm/lock, and negative thru a 7.5K ohm resistor for disarm/unlock, use double pulse for unlock.
Power Unlock      same wire

My car is one of the ones that does arm and disarm through the locks.  I will have to see if I can hit a different wire.

you HAVE to use relays with the 791xv because of the +- doorlock outputs on the viper.
the lt.green wire coming out of the drivers door harness is the wire you want.
