Hi, I'm looking for a add on remote start to add to my factory keylesss system on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I want to use my factory remotes only.

ultimatly I would want an alarm system also, but it would have to work only with my factory fobs.

Using OEM FOB's are not very good because of the range limitations on them. If you are to get an add on remote starter then your range for the remote starter will only be as good as your current remotes. The same connections are used for the add on remote starter as a stand alone version. You will still need a bypass module for the Immobilizer system on the Jeep as well.

Yeah, factory OEM FOB ranges are not the greatest, they have improved but it's still a hasle. Depending on the type of remote starter you use, you will have to use the button on your pad in some kind of sequence. (ex. lock, unlock, lock) (lock button twice). Alot of of people do not like these kind of headaches.

My Personal Installer Note: Connectors are easy, neat, and professional. But do you know how to crimp properly?
