ive never tried this  before on dei only on other brands, so why switch the green wire over to the blue trigger wire off of the alarm, cant you just leave the green wire on the green wire since that would be your warn away.

I supose so, but when using both the shock sensor and the prox sensor I use the shock sensor plugged in as normal and then cut the harness for the prox and use the blue wire as the input. If I want both zones you hook up botht the blue and the green wires to the blue multiplex input and if you only want warn away then just hook up the green wire to the blue multiplex.

Or, you could get an Ultrastart U660 AM frequency 2way alarm (msrp $199). It only has audio paging, but it works great for the money. Has built in shock sensor that can be adjusted through the remote, an auxiliary sensor port (for prox) and the best part is the shock and auxiliary sensor can be temporarily bypassed through the remote to prevent false alarms. Very versitale and easy to use/program/install. Recommend omega au94t prox sensor...small sleek and plugs right into 660...www.ultrastarters.com
I tell it like it is...
