Hey guys i was wondering what is the easiest way to install 6x9's in place of 6 1/2's. I want more power so im swapping them out, but the speaker gap is only for 6 1/2's. thanks for the help

I don't think that there is an easy way unless you build a template of the 6x9 out of 3/4 or start cutting that 6 1/2 metal hole into a 6x9.

Depending on where you want the speakers, you could use a set of 6x9 boxes. Most places sell a pair of them for around $30.

They also sell  unversal templates for the rear.  It raises the 6x9s but it does it's job.
My Personal Installer Note: Connectors are easy, neat, and professional. But do you know how to crimp properly?

What vehicle do you want to put these into and what location in the vehicle (front doors, rear deck, other...) ?

well easiest way is to grab a pair of tinn snips and cut off little by little until you get them to fit takes only a few minutes you should be ok .

Im going to put these in a 92' integra 2-door in the rear deck. thanks for the help so far.
