anyone ever automate a glove box to open?

some of us are just really bored, I have also been looking into doing something similar but a little more complicated then this.   I am trying to work on a project that
Step 1..glove box opens about 5 inches of clearence
Step 2..18inch LCD monitor slides outward
Step 3..using motors and a small belt, the monitor flods itself upright

i can honestly say i have never been so lazy i felt a need to motorize my glovebox, but then i was thinking. maybe its liek a microwave oven, people lived without those for centuries but you just try and take mine away from me now! i just dont know what im missing. ~Ryan

PS: this is supposed to be a joke, i think it sounds like a neat idea, post some pics if anyone does this.
