I just purchased a compustar ss-as, and when i received the item, the antenna was in two pieces.  The flat part and the wire antenna.  Is this the way it is suppose to be or did i get an antenna that was broken. Am I suppose to install the antenna wire into the black part my self?  Thanks ....... Mike

So this is normal? This is the way they ship it?  The box they sent it in is long enough, so why would it be in two different pieces?  Thanks for the info.....
