I have come across two soundstream tarantula 12" subs for 200$ for the pair. Does anyone have any comments about the soundstream subs? are they any good? They look pretty bad ass and the owner says they are lound as hell. some input would help me out. Thanx

I've heard good things about the Tarantula amp, but I never hear anyone saying they wished they had a Soundstream sub.

Soundstream makes a good overall product, well at least their Tarantula line. I'd give it a try, but get a nice clean amp to power them... Do you have any specs?
"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.

i can vouch for their 5channel Tarantula, being one beast of an amp, i wandered the same about their sub though, and i never got a real reply. to the best of my knowledge its better suited for SPL than anything else. but im sure its got a fairly decent Sound quality to it.
