I have ran Memphis Amps in many competitions and have never had any problems out of the equipment...They have many amps that are one ohm stable...Mostly the Mclass Amps....The MC1000D for example will put out 1100 watts at one ohm and will do it all day long with minimal to No out side cooling......

Orion is also good....Never been a fan of PPI

I had a little 250W memphis amp powering my subs for awhile. It pounded the subs pretty good for its size, and ran at 1 ohm without a problem (even though it wasnt technically 1 ohm stable). Hifonics are great amps, especialy since they are much cheaper then the others you mentioned.
On a side note, if you end up going with orion or ppi, they have some good deals on them at ikesound.com.

Memphis is definately the way to go...you can push the amps to the max and they will handle it. they are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. There are a couple stores on EBay that sell the older model ST1000D amps, which are the same as the new MC1000Ds  except for the casing...you should be able to pic a new one up for about 250-300 bucks....
