We need to know the Specs of the subs because we can't tell if it'll be too strong if no numbers are given. What impedence are the subs and what is the RMS wattage?

not a problem as long as gains are set properly, and you dont drive the amp into clipping...which setting the gains helps this alot!    I have rand subs are nearly 4 times there recomended RMS rating with out problems, wouldnt suggest it...but it can be done

You'll be fine.  Set your gains correctly and its actually pretty hard to blow up subwoofers with a little extra power.  Don't touch your bass boost, gain, etc. after you've set it correctly.

edit:   people have been doing this more and more to me...  Maybe I need to type faster.  Yeah, what Jeff said. :-)
