Ive just fitted intellistart 4 to my '99 BMW 3 series but Im a bit concerned that I didnt use all of the wires....The car has a (UK) clifford intelliguard 950 installed (not by me)....
e.g. I didnt use the following:
Accessory - not required - everything worked without it
Heater/Air Con 1 - Not required - worked without it.
Ignition 2/Heater 2 - not required - worked without it.
Hood input (already in ig950 unit)
Brake light (already in ig950 unit)
I ignored the diesel wires so not concerned re these....
Am I going to hell in a handbasket and should I be concerned that an important safety feature has been bypassed due to my incompetance (im not an auto electrician).... or can I sleep safe in my bed at night knowing im a good person.....

Extra ignitions are not normally required on BMWs.  The intellistart picks up hood and brake from the alarm through data cable as long as they are hooked up on the alarm.  Easy test, remote start car, open hood, car should shut off.  Again, remote start car, step on brake without key, car should shut off.  No worries
