Of all the car audio boards ive checked out, this one is by far the best. Why?? Becasue the people are actually nice and professional about things. Rarely do people on here resort to personal asaults, unlike some other forums *cough* sounddomain *cough* For example, on sounddoamin I expressed my opinion on audiobahn. People were saying how much they rocked, and how they were made by Digital Designs. I made a post about the downsides of audiobahn, and people proceeded to jump down my throat. I was told i was a "n00b" (yes with zeros instead of O's) and I was also told to "stfu". So I responded with this.
Nobody has yet proved to me that immortals are made by DD. As far as handling the their RMS, they might for awhile. But before long, espeically if you plan on competeting and playing at high volumes regularly, they will blow, thats audiobhan for ya. I personally wouldnt put audiobhan anything in my car unless I got it for free. But its your money, so spend it how you like. As for people calling me a newb or "noob" or "n00b" or whatever stupid spelling you use, GROW UP!! This isnt a everquest game, im only 17 and I act more grown up then a lot of people on this forum
Then someone wrote this back:
when competing at a high level EVERYONE smokes subs at some point or another..Ive seen with
95/9900s, Brahmas, MTs,TRFs, SoloX, L7s, Power Hx2's, APXS, Death Penalties, CSX, SSX have all been blown to hell (folded/shredded cones, coils shot through dustcaps, frozen coils etc)
and as far as handling their power for daily usage, theres a customer of mine thats running a VR2000d PER sub and it has been going strong for over 6months so get a clue and stop talking out of your ass
ps STFU n00b
I was really dissapointed with the lack of professionalism, and overall rudeness of the site. I dont think I will be frequenting those boards to much anymore.

That's funny dude !! Personally I have never seen or heard a sub blow up because of too much power going to it. Not in a real world system* that is. I'm not saying that it'snot possible, but in all my years of installing, I've seen and heard many subs clip from not having enough power going to them and people inadvertently think that the amp blew it up.

* Definition of real world system : A system that is used under normal listening environment ( without the use of hear protection ) in conjunction with component speakers.

I agree with you pimp. Who needs another forum anyway? I can find out anything I need to know right here on the12volt. People get nowhere by insulting others, and I have yet to meet anybody that knows everything.
