where would i locate the wire harness for the speaker wires on the 2002 ford windstar . i've found contact pin's on the door post's behind the driver and passenger seat's . any idea's how to gain access to the harness with out breaking anything .

I don't believe those contact pins have anything to do with your speakers but with the interior lights.  What are you trying to do exactly.

I'm trying to add a bass box that has 2 mid-range speakers mounted inside . the wire harness run's inside the door post near the front seat's . the rear speaker's are mounted in the sliding side door panel's so the contact pin's are part of the speaker contact's . i have looked over the area and seen a harness that run's up in the door post . the light that you say that run's off the pin's are no where near the pin's it's more near the floor and it's on it's own wire .

it would be alot easier if you just go to behind the factory radio with the wiring diagram found in this site...ask for a diagram I am sure someone has on and run your wires from there
