Hopefully someone here has worked with one of these! I can't find the trick for removing the factory VideoCassette Player. It has to come out in order to get at the two screws that hold the center bezel in. I need to pull the factory head unit in order to install an add-on cd/mp3 changer.

Anyone? Reply here or shoot me an e-mail.

we removed one at a  shop I used to work at, I took like 6 hours to figure out, there is like a cable you have remove, and a whole bunch of brackets, sorry I dont have specific instructions, all I can tell you is that it is a major BIOTCH.

Looked like the car puked the lower dash out.

Have Fun

Remove the two plastic push plugs that go up into the VCP from the pocket below. Pry them down and out. Remove the trim above the VCP by pulling straight back to release the clips. Depending on the year of the van, you can either pull the VCP out the front after pushing it forward to release the clips in the back, or you must unscrew it. If there are two 7mm screws going straight down on the back of the VCP, take them out. Pull the VCP forward to get at the two hidden 7mm screws that hold the back of the rear lower console to the dash support. Remove the two long screws on the back edge of the lower pocket. The whole console comes out VCP and all. The VCP can be removed out the back after it's all out in this version.
