I have done reverse polarity door locks before but this car is driving me nutts. I could not find the wires in the driver kick so I found some wires in the pass glove compartment. Problem is that the wires are huge. They look like wires that drive the door lock motor. I could not find anything else so I started there. I cut one side and all the locks would not lock but they would all unlock. I thought that rev pol would not work at all if you cut one wire. So I proceeded to cut the other one and wire a standard rev pol. When I got done nothing worked and blew a fuse. So I then proceeded to reconnect as normal and it all still worked. Then I cut one wire and left the other alone. When I test with the switch the wire was going positive I assumed was the switch side. I tried to put a positive on the other end of the wire and it blew the fuse. I could not find the normal small pink / YELLOW and pink/green wires. Please help.

the wires you have might be the right ones but you need to find the primary switch. this is the one that doesent work at all with one wire cut. this is the one you have to isolate(87a) of the relay. usually drivers side.

Yeah, this car is a bear. Female. Vaguely dog-shaped, female bear.
The only place I've ever gotten a five-wire to work in this car was _in_ the driver's boot. Working in between the door and the side of the car is always fun, especially when you have to connect and solder four wires.
Be careful, too. There's some awfully thin gauge stuffs that would be easy to tear out if you just give the wires a yank...

Thanks for all your help. I found them in the drivers door boot. The wires enter the car and go strait up. I found them and got it working.
Thanks again
