If i run a positive wire from the battery how should i split the line for both amps?

To split the line, you will need a distribution block. They can be had in the fused or non-fused variety.

If you go to wal-mart you can buy an amplifier kit that is made for two amps and It comes with a distrobution block that breaks one 4 AWG wire into two 8 AWG wires. It also comes with two sets of RCA wires and something like an 80-100 amp fuse. Mine came with 100 but some of the newer ones came with 80. The kits are pretty cheapr...something like 30 bucks...so for a good all around package for two amps check that out! The brand name is Scosche
