I am building a box for two of the MOFO 15. The specs are saying 3.4 cubic feet per sub so 6.8 for two. That also includes sub displaysment and port. The specs are calling for 2 round ports  4”(dia)x8.25”(length) per sub. But i want to make the box a shared box and have one sloted port insted of round ports. Can someon tell me how many cubic inches the port need to be for two of the MOFO 15. I called the techsupport people at power acoustik but they did not know. They said that they have to have a program to figure it out and they don't. Please help. The build starts tomorrow. HELP

I cant stress enough how bad of an Idea it is to run sharred space. And running a sharred space box thats ported is even worse. If you wanna make slotted ports thats fine but do not build a sharred space box.

Ok, thanks for the very fast reply. I think that i might or probably will go with the one sub per chamber but that then means that i have to build two ports. I still have to figure out the cubic inches for the ports. One sub per chamber.

I just talked to the techsupport at poweracoustik and  i asked them for a single 15 mofo port size and they gave me  2 x 8.6 x 6. My box is going to be 18 tall upfront were the port and the subs are going to go so that gives me 16.5 inside the port tall. How to i aproch this from here on the port building perspective. long, wide, deep.
