2001 caravan Rattler to Prestige lock/unlock failure when both controller leads are attached at the same time.
Without OEM keyless entry or alarm.
Remotes of Rattler 100 keyless entry failed, so decided to replace system with Presitige ASO-25CH.
Parking lights work fine, lock works if unlock lead is disconnected, unlock works if lock lead is disconnected. Neither lock or unlock works if both leads are connected.
Any ideas why and how to get it working? This same setup worked fine with the Rattler.

It is now wired similar to:
https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page2.asp
Dodge Caravan
Locate the white w/green wire in the harness under the body control module. When ground is applied to this lead through a 1.5 K ohm resistor the doors will lock. When ground is applied to this lead through a 249 ohm resistor the doors will unlock.
Difference is that mine is using the 5.2K and 2K ohm resisters. One of my nores mentions relays being required. How woukd this work, if it's the problem?
Lock/unlock won't work if both wires are attached.
