I currently have the Viper 791XV, but not installed. I know the range is pretty decent. However, I want the max possible range. Does the extended range antenna http://www.directed.com/security/access/essent.asp add any range?

Why must keep the antenna out of the tint?

i am trying to find the trouble because my 791 XV remote control sometimes goes out of range (do not receive the commands).

Somebody knows if this is an antenna issue when the car has all tinted windows. (polarized).?

Thanks for your help
