I'm trying to install a pl2003 bypass on a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am. I don't understand how to hook it up. Do I have to hook up the white (2d ign 12v out) wire from the by pass to the 2nd ign. wire on the car (dk.green)

Here is the bypass pin out:

black-------------------ground

yellow------------------ data out

white--------------------2d ignition 12v out

pink--------------------main ignition 12v in

purple----------------- starter in NOT USED  (passlock I)

brown------------------bulb test NOT USED  (passlock I)

blue-------------------- remote start negative trigger while running

green------------------data in NOT USED  (MODE 2)

IHelp with PL2003 bypass -- posted image.'ll upload the wiring diagram, it's hard to read because I had to reduce it to 30kb to upload it!

for your questions, the black wire is obvious, the ground (i put it to the ground wire of the passlock 2 system (black or ORANGE / black)

the data wire goes to the yellow data wire.

the 2nd ignition out only has to be hooked up if there is a second ignition wire in the car.

and yer pink wire goes to the main ignition wire (not 12volt constant)

and the ground out when running goes to that one comming off the starter

anything let me know
