Ok here is the problem I need help with. I hve a 03 Ford focus and am trying to get the keyless entry to work. The problem I am having is that the unlock feature works but not the lock feature. I have programmed everything and double checked all my wires. Also when I start the car the loacks dont lock but when I turn it off they do unlock. Any help would be appreciated.
And on a sedon note I had to buy a bypass for the remote start feature. I got a DEI555s to do this and got it to work. But when I tried to use the key the key wouldnt work. But if I take the 555s away from the ignition it works.
Thanks

Ya know.....I have heard of this happening on other ford vehicles as well, with DEI equipment! Im assuming that its DUMB luck that I only seen it with DEI stuff

I also have been a victom of this, but it happened a little different  to me. I pulled a excursion in to the shop to instal an amp and subs. the truck spent the night, the next morning it wouldnt start with the key. only remotley

Im gonna monitor this post to see what kind of answers you get. I did do some reading on my astrochart that talks about the BCM shutting down after 3min. But that effected the UNLOC not the LOCK   WEIRD huhCommando rs-560 help - Last Post -- posted image.

Make sure that the bypass module isn't on all the time when starting.  I found in my Jeep XJ that two signals will confuse it and it won't start (tried to remote start with keys in ignition).
