I was just wondering if anyone had an idea for a good place to mount the brain of my crime guard alarm in my 02 honda civic? There is a horizontal "shelf" right next to the driver side kick panel, and I wanted to mount it there, but the wires seem like they might get in the way. So, any other ideas? Thanks.

Mount the unit as high up as possible. Harder for a theive to work on his back as to working on his knees when he gets inside your car. Even better if the unit can not be found at all, but only you know where it is.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.brain placement -- posted image.

Best place would be anywhere but under the driver's dash.
