I have a customer that seeking to have a remote start (Mannix, I never heard of it) installed on a 1996 Benz C280. I wanted to reach out to the industry regarding this vehicle, as I'm not the biggest fan for working on a Benz.

Questions:

1.) Are there any particular do's and don't about this car? 2.) Any thing special required for the door locks or parking lights, etc.? Any other special requirements to get the remote start to work properly? Any recommendations?

Any recommendations and help are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Ign wires are accesed under the fuse panal under the hood (of ALL places)

diode isolate your park light wires.....doin a remote start you must first unlock the doors OR send a neg(-) to the PURPLE / blue wire located in the drivers kick @ the starter kill relay.Arms and disarms with lock and unlock....SEE
