I was wondering if any one could help me out on this I have a 03 Lexus IS300 and when I went to cut the factory transponder ring wires to hook up a 556u the car wouldn't start. So I reconnected the 2 wires that I had cut and the car still won't start. I checked the fuses and everything seems to be fine. The car cranks but does not Turn Over. Any help would be great

Why did you cut wires on the Lexus for the 556U ? The 556U uses the ring to induce the signal to the ignition column and this transfers the code to the Immobilizer computer. Cutting the wire off the Lexus causes an error on the Immobilizer and you may not be able to clear the error unless you bring it to a Lexus dealer. Try disconnecting the battery for 60 minutes and post your results.

Because stupid best buy installer said the only way for it to work was to cut the factory transponder. so stupidly i did now i just want the car to at least start with key i really don't care about the remote start at this point. But thanks for that info i am trying it right now... Does anyone else know of a way to get rid of that error?
