Hey all
I have a problem that is really getting to me. I own a 1994 Honda Accord Wagon, it had one of those crap Jap head units in it. So I just removed it and decided to put in my old but trusty Kendwood KDC 2016 headunit. So this is where my problem begins. First one I couldnt find the 12v constent feed so I fed one off the bat and now the head unit will accept a CD but wont play it nor does it play the radio. I now cant find the Illumination feed from the car sterio loom or the from the headunit. Also I cant find the switched 12v, I was going to splice into the cig lighter but that dosnt work so now I have to splice straight from the ACC wire on the key barrel.
I would like to know how the other head unit worked, I cant find any 12v's, switched 12v's or illumination wires. I am frecking confused, I have even had a guy that has a cert in car audio look at it and he just cried, he didnt know what to do either.
Any suggestions or things to look out for?
Kind regards
James

for you 12 constant and switched I would say just go to the IGN harness if you cant find it.   jsut be sure to put fuses in line.    and if you still have no sound thats another problem in itself
