Budget Amps/Sub

I'm trying to setup a basic system for my car within a reasonable price range.  The head unit and 6 1/2 inch doors and rear deck speakers are already purchased for me and I'm looking for an amp in the $200-300 USD dollar range and a sub and enclosure in the  $100-150 USD range.    I've got a 2005 Saturn Ion and I'm looking to maximize my truck space as I need as much room as possible in the truck for work supplies.   At the same time, obviously,  I'd like to get as decent a system as possible for my money.  Any suggestions on what to get and where to get it from?  I live in Canada, and I'd prefer not to do cross border shipping if at all possible but it's not out of the question - the local stores overcharge 30-50% relative to equivelant prices (including exchange) on the web.   All four 6 1/2's are lower end alpines rated to 40W rms - head unit is a Pioneer DEH-P560MP.   Any help is greatly appreciated!

Try an MTX 251D and one 12" MTX either 5500 series or 4500 series. 55oo series being the better of the two.

Since I traded my Mazda 6 for a Mazda 3 hatchback, I went from MA Audio to MTX. I still have to admit that MA Audio is probably one of the hardest hitting subs I've heard for a while. But my buddy owns a stereo shop here in town and the prices I'm getting on MTX is just too hard to beat.

Thanks for the help guys, I've got a Shiva on order and working on finding the JBL amp.    Think the alpines will do ok off the HU by themselves or should I also try and buy a cheaper low end amp for them next time I have some cash?  Might as well prewire up for them if this is the case.

I had a thought, but not knowing a whole lot about car audio I wanted to see if this might work too - since I can't afford to buy two seperate amps at the moment and the JBL looks to be running around 399 in Canada, I can pickup a Soundstream Van Gogh 800.5 for about the same price.   While I understand the need to have seperate amps for future expandability, this amp seems to be a decent fit running 4x50 and 1x200 RMS, would this be giving enough to the Shiva to work well?
