I did a search but only came up with people using some CS Module or something. The leads call for a 425 & 1425 Ohm pulse to operate the locks. I tried to find those resistors and cant. Would it be ok to just solder equal resisters in series to achieve the 425 & 1425 ohm lead? Or is there a better way? Thanks

In a pinch I solder resistors together.  You can use a variable Resistor. Or OMEGA makes a Dual Variable Door Lock Resistor Relay pack

i can't verify the values you have but resistors wire the same way as speakers.

series circuits add     1000+100+100+25=1425

parralel circuits divide    2 1000k resistors =500ohms

i hope this helps

come on man.. u should know that if u wire them in series it shows up as a total resistance.. ohms law brotha... of course itll work... only problem i see with it is the tolerence %... i forgot how to add those up but basically when adding the resistors in series you multiply the tolerence i think.. idk someone on here will though.. thats the only thing i can see going wrong with it

or you could just use a 456L resistence learning doorlock module and be done with it in 5 minutes.......

ther is really no point in using moduals for this, that's a very lazy very costly way to do it, pick up a pack of resistors for 99 cents or so, and mix em up, there is absolutely no harm in using more then one resistor to get the right value, i almost never use just one resister to acheive locks, it's cheaper this way
