Changing settings on avital remote start

Turn the key to on then off.

Press the valet button five times, holding it down on the fifth press. Try not to press the button too fast.

Wait two seconds and then press button two (unlock) on your remote.

The led will not blink on the brain to confirm this step. It should be off at that time.

Remote start and see if the lights are constant.

You must press the valet button five times because you are trying to access the fourth feature. Then you must press it once more and hold it., thus five times total then hold.
