I was wondering if this setup looks ok in every perspective before i install/buy all of it. No comments on your liking or disliking just whether it all goes together ok...

Visonik V123BP (2 12" 4ohm subs in a bandpass) 600RMS(total)

Kenwood KAC-X811D amp (mono amp) 600watt@12V

Streetwires PS04 RSi Wiring Kit (4 gauge w/ 80 amp fuse and RCA's and remote turn on)

Stinger 12 gauge speaker wire

kenwood kac-x811d you will need at least 2 guage wire with a 150 amp circuite breaker for this amp you will get about 750watts at 2 ohm this amp is really underrated, i run mine at 1 ohm and i have benched this amp at 1350watts rms @14.4 volts, everthing else looks ok. i would not buy a bandpass box

One more thing i forgot... any power wire larger than 4 awg gets very expensive. Even if you were to get 750watts out of the amp, 4 awg should do just fine so long as you're not installing this in a stretch limo. (over 20 feet of power wire) lol

Bandpass looks cool but it is infact one of the quickest ways to destroy a sub. The term bandpass in laymens terms means that it is designed to play a limited range of frequencies, it gets rid of the high and gets rid of the lows and plays the area in between. As correctly pointed out above, with that amp ir will require a good size power AND ground wire. If the length is 20 feet or less I would probably give it a 4 gauge line and call it a day. Do some more research on your subs and box. Post up the vehicle it is going in and see what results can be gathered by some of the people on the forum, that's what they are here for. However, what works for them in their car may not work in yours, so take their recommendations and ask questions about it as to how if pertains to your ride.

Bandpass does slaughter subs. The bad thing about it is with the higher and lower frequencies filtered out, it is very difficult to hear your subs distorting, and Distortion = Blown Subs. Also without those higher and lower frequencies, it sounds boomy, but not very loud. So what do you do? You crank up the volume, and that only adds to the distortion problem. Bandpass is an older box style that has worn out it's welcome. It's a recipe for disaster.

yeppers, that excelon amp is a great value, i'd also recommend an excelon head unit so you can use kenwood's new "amp control" features.

luckily, that amp doesnt draw a lot of amperage from the vehicle in order to output the 800 watts @ 2 ohm mono. so...4 gauge is plenty

Bandpass consumes your soul, so either go sealed or ported. You'll lose those subs faster than my wife loses money the day after thanksgiving...still trying to get a tax break....
