I installed this remote starter in a 1998 Subaru Legacy. All was fine for about 18 months, then no start. When the start button is pressed, it flashes the parking lights once (normal), then 3 times rapidly (not normal). I have checked all connections, hood switch, etc. The lock/unlock works normally. Any one have any ideas?

Also, does anyone have a manual for this unit? I misplaced mine, and the Omega website only has one for the RS-7k, which programs differently.

Anyone have a manual for an Omega RS-7K2? I checked the website but all they have is an RS-7K. It programs differently than the 7K2. The remote starter function won't work now. All it will do is flash the parking lights 3 times rapidly. Door lock/unlock works OK.

try your valet switch, it will keep the unit from starting if it is on.
