Avic -N1 2002 Avalanche no sound

I just connected a Pioneer Avic-N1 to chevy Avalanche 2002. Everything seems to be ok except no sound from the radio.

I get sound from pushing the buttons inthe unit but no radio or cd sound. Please help. Thanks

Do you have a BOSE system in the avalanche?? If so I would reccommend getting an amp interface module at your local car audio shop. BOSE speakers tend to be 1-2 ohm speakers that may cause that spendy in dash to fry out.

No, I have a regular Delco CD and radio. Do you think I still need this interface module?
