I have installed a panasonic deck into a 99 Maxima and have used the proper wiring harness need to do the install correctly and i have a solid ground, the deck works fine and the stereo sounds great but when you switch track to track there is like a click sound that comes out of the speakers not that loud but would like to fix if possible any ideas?

I would double check your connection if all good I would then return or exchange head unit

well i know all the connections are right ive gone over them 3 times and i belive they are baang on but somthing must be giving me feed back?

yes the maxima has a bose system in it but it was properly bypassed

Car running? not running? dont matter?

suppose its just radio +/ - and a speaker ? still?

It does not matter what the car is doing of on or on accesory it will make the click i am thing that perhaps i am getting feed back and I might need to diode isolate

You said your ground was solid but you did not say where you installed the ground. Also, did you run new wires or did you use the factory wires? And did you install new speakers when you bypassed the amp? If you did not install new speakers, did you measure the impedance of the factory speakers? Most Bose speakers are low impedance.

I installed a HU in my 99 Maxima with Bose, I just went to Walmart and bought the cheap Schoshe adapter, a 99 Nissan with Bose isn't listed on the package, but it will work. as long as you connect everything up correctly. You don't need one of those fancy Pac adapters. Your noise is probably because you aren't grounded very well. It happened to me when I made a new ground, however... I grounded it to the Tranny box by accident, so I could hear the feedback and when my tranny shifted. However, you do need to make sure your ground is going straight to metal and not to the back under your HU. It should work perfectly. Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions just let me know
