I have an auto command first defense alarm installed. I don't really care for the L.E.D. that came with the alarm, in fact I didn't even leave it visible. I would rather scare the "poop" out of someone trying to mess with the car. Save me time and money replacing my hood, battery wires, siren wires....
I was just wondering if and how I could use a scanner type light when my alarm is armed. Thanks in advance to any wnswers and thanks to the12volt.... my e-mail notification is finally working.

ofcourse you can use the scanner type led's....same kind of hookup,,,usually has instructions which comes with it..just cut the wires that goes to the regular led that came with the alarm and connect them to your scanner...THATS ALL. your done

Thanks Steve. Didn't think it would be that simple, as rarely anything I do is. Have an awesome day!
