Why i must keep the antenna out of the tint?  (Viper 791XV)

I am trying to find the trouble because my 791 XV remote control sometimes lost signal to receive the commands. after that i have to do a good reset to fix that. (arghhhhhh.)

Somebody knows if this is an antenna issue when the car has 70% tinted windows, including windshield.?

Thanks for your valuable help

The antenna is mounted in the upper center of the windshield and the windshield have a 1 inch of 100% tint and rest of the windshield and all windows is polarized at 70%.

Thanks.

1 inch? i thought anything was leagle up to 6 ", there is a little marker on the left side, anyways, i haven't found that tint really makes THAT much of a diference in antena range, usually only - a couple feet, like 10 20 or so? unless it's like lead (spelled?) tint, haha
