If this is your first alarm install, it will be a challenge. Depending on what features you install will determine how much more you'll need (wiring, relays, etc).

And, if you can figure out how to set the clock on the damn remote without wanting to throw it at the wall.... let me know. I've got another installer at one of our other shops that would lovetoknow (myself included)

GUS1 Hold down the F key for five seconds and the remote will enter the menu to change the clock settings.

Really? I thought it was more involved than that. I seem to remember a rather annoying sequence, follwed by accidentally hitting the wrong button and exiting the clock menu without doing anything, all accompanied by beeping. Hafta try again when we get some more of them in.

nope, thats the easiest feature ( among the 3247 available features ) to program on these units... press F button 5 secs and it goes into adjust clock mode

Cool. I just remember sitting in Clarion training, and as Sanjay sent around the remote for the SR5000, and got to my table, the head installer in our Wpg. store(Ken Gingles) just goes " $5 if you can set the clock on it". Niether of us could figure it out, however the beeping and such was rather entertaining, and, as Sanjay put it "There's always one in every seminar"
