I'm installing a Prestige Platinum APS-996a on a 2005 GMC Envoy XL this weekend.  I just wanted to put some feelers out there to see if there's any particular information I should know.

I'm going to use the DEI 555L or DEI 555T for the Passlock II.  In addition, I'm not familar with the DEI 455G for the locks, but wanted to get some recommendations.  Has anyone use this module before.  Let me know what you experience has been.

Any additional recommendations regarding the vehicle would be helpful also.

Please advise, and thanks in advance.

no special instructions... wire the 555L ( 555T has been discontinued fo years now ) and 455G as instructions say... it'll go easy... only problem is all the modules you have to find room to stuff up under the dash....

If you carefully remove the endpanel of the dash, there is a large cavity located there (behind light switch). You can fit 3 boxes there, and the XCRS can hang out underneath, on the harness heading through the firewall. I don't know how the Prestige stuff isset up, but over here in DEI country, that's what I've been doing on the newer GM SUV's.
