can any one tell mem why my factory alarm won't arm? It's a 1995 Audi 90. The alarm arms and disarms when I turn the key in the lock. The keyless entry remote start that I installed (pro start CT3300) locks and unlocks the door but the alarm will anly arm if I use the key in the door lock. I thought that the factory wire diagram that came with the prostrart said that it would wourk with the power locking?????

you have to get the arm and disarm wiring that is in the drivers door. it sounds worse than it is, i have done lots of audi and vw's, go in the door and find the arm wire and parallel the arm/lock wires out of your r/s and the same for disarm/unlock, to test for these wires keep the door open but manually latch the door jamb claw and hold the door pin then tap the wire with a (-) neg. pulse it will arm, lock and honk the horn, then hitting the right unlock wire will obviously unlock, and disarm the factory security.
once you have it all done it works great.
p.m me if you need more information.
hope i could help.
sweet.
