engine cranks for .5 sec no start

2004 sierra cs423 & Ipp03. I think im almost there with this install. Programmed remote, programed tach, it lights flash like it took OK. Problem is when i try R/S the engine cranks for half second tries to start then the R/S stops goes into 2nd and third try with same results then shuts down. Any help is much Appreciated.

sounds like a passlock issue. double check the wiring

how did you handle the passlock wiring?  sounds like thats the problem, i agree with mobile1

I tied into light green wire for key sense. At first this was the wrong light green wire as it would only attempt to start when key was in. Then I found the right light green wire and now it attempts to start without the key. The data line i tied to purple in the service plug. The tach is tied to the white wire in instrument cluster. These are all the main issues I can find on this site. Was woundering if the ground of the bypass has to be connected to the ground wires in the ignition wires of passlock.

OK I found a thread where you test if its a passlock issue or a tach issue. I started truck, pushed the start button on R/S and removed the key. The truck kept on running like its supposed to. Thread confirmed its a passlock issue.
But what I haven't figured yet.
