hello, i installed a new viper alarm system (850HX i beleive) in my car and the local shop i work for has an older dual zone radar sensor (part number LNK-ARS201) i can't find the make or anything else on it but they said if it works i could have  it, i'm wondering if that would work on my alarm or not?

Is your car a rag top or a soft top jeep......if its not.....Do you REALLY want a radar sensor, even the best radar sensors dont work that wellviper alarm question -- posted image.

Humidity , temperature and the like ALL have an affect on how well the sensor works!!

It will work for full trigger only, the warn away will not work using that sensor.

i'm not sure if i want a radar sensor or not yet...like i said, the shop said i could have it so the price was right, all i've got right now is just the dual zone shock sensor and hood and trunk pins, just the basic alarm. i'm leaning more towards a glass break sensor rather then the radar....but not sure yet.
