i was just wondering if anyone new of any place to get vehicle specific transponder bypass kits. i prefer to use these rather than having to use a spare key. i normally get them from 12voltshop.com but they just raised their prices on quite a few of their kits. they are the only place i know of to get them. if anyone knows of anywhere else to get them i would like to know.
thanks
trent

do you have to be a dealer to purchase from bypasskit.com because whenever i try to go to the order form there they ask for a company and tax id. i don't have that. can i still buy from them

I have the same question.  I would like to purchase a couple pieces from Bypasskit.com, but I am not a dealer.  Where is a good place to find their products for sale to consumers?

If you know what you need, try a search on e-bay. or www.autopreservers.com

It is easy as pie to get a EIN from the IRS. You can call them and thy will give you a number over the phone after give them a bit of information. All you need is a social security number and a business name. Really all you are doing is registering a business name with the IRS. It took me 10 minutes on the phone. You don't even need a state tax ID. I didn't give them my state tax ID number, just my federal tax ID and I buy from them.

I have heard that all DEI modules require a key be left in the vehicle.  Is this true?  I would really like to avoid this.
