I am trying to program my Compustar 2WFM-AS CM3000 V2.0. I am trying to chnage the Driver's Priority Unlock from the Factory default of OFF to Optional ON. First I press I+II wait for two seconds and the car should chirp but the alarm sounds for 2 seconds, when I try the next step Press IV 4 times I should get a flash and chirp but I just set off the panic mode instead. Do I need to have the key in the ignition or some other step I am missing? Does any have any ideas?

I found on my 2wss-as that the ignition had to be on and the alarm could NOT be in quiet mode (i.e. no chirp on lock and unlock). Also when you hit button 4, wait for alarm to chirp and lights to flash before hitting it again. Watch the lights. Hope this helps.
