I put a remote starter in the other night. everthing works except one thing. I can't get the factory key fob to activate the remote start. but it works when hit the lock button on the door 3 times. I've got the start activation wire connected to the PURPLE / dark green wire for the lock to activate it . Did I do something wrong? Please help?

If you are using the Factory Remotes to Start:

You need to hook it to the Negative side of your LOCK wire at the Door Lock Motor not the switch.

that's for the help guys I'm gonna try it tonight but now I have to find the wire. would you know where it is and the color?
