Well..there is no factory arm wire on the 94 lesabre. on the 93 olds 98 the factory arm wire is yellow in driver's door hanress and factory disarm wire is lt.green in the same harness..test and verify..wires might not exist. external trigger input is designed to interface with existing alarm systems and not necessarily just for that alone. for e.g. an existing alarm/keyless system might have an external trigger output wire that will send a signal/pulse to whatever you connect it to..in your case this external trigger input will connect to that wire thus enabling you to activate remote start using the existing system in place.. Some folks tie it into their keypad (certain nissan's..fords etc) You can also tie it into an alarm channel that sends a signal by pressing certain combo of keys on the remote fob... And lastly, this trigger can also double as a installer test wire..when you are down in the dash and want to test the system, you just follow the instructions to activate the external trigger (usually making contact with ground) It will help you test/troubleshoot the system as needed.
