Hello
Installed a remote start on a 2001 cavalier.
This vehicle is equipped with a "content theft
deterent". If you lock the doors with the factory
keyfob then try and remote start the horn and lights
flash.   --the info I have states that when the ignition
wire is powered up on remote start, this shuts down the theft system ---not the case..
Anyone know which wire to groundpulse at the bcm to disarm this system on remote start-up??

make sure that you powered up the brown wire(acc.) as a second acc. pink for the ignition and white for second ignition...if it has it. otherwise evrything should be 100%.
sweet.

disarm with relay

30 : ignition wire : pink

85 and 87 : +12 volts

86 : to disarm wire (-) from remote starter , add a diode (cathode to the remote)

next wire need to be install on the disarm wire between the last diode and the remote and then connect it to (-) trigger wire at Passlock bypass unit

add a diode  (cathode to the remote "disarm wire")
