Hi,

I'm wondering could I get any guidance on a problem I'm experiencing with my Kenwood Music Keg.(KHD-C710)

The Keg is only a couple of weeks old.

I've tried contacting Kenwood UK and Kenwood USA but they couldn't help.

The Keg works perfectly up until my car is turned off for a few hours.

When I start the car my Kenwood head unit cannot play the Music Keg and

displays a reading.....' T01 F-01 Load '

which flashes continuously..

To get the music Keg recognised again I have to disconnect it in the boot and press reset on the head unit

which causes me to lose all my tuner presets..

My head unit is a KDC-W6527 SE which was bought with the Keg..

I had both units installed by an auto-electrician.

Do you think the Keg is faulty or is it a problem with the power the Keg is receiving

I would be very grateful for any direction on the above matter.

Kind regards,

David Addie

If it were me, I would take the product back to were it was purchased and show them the problem before your return period is over. They might now of the problem and can fix it, or just let you exchange it.

Thanks,

meter the BU voltage line for power, it sounds like you have a power dump causing a logic problem, it shouldnt have to re-access data unless constant power has been interuppted.....
