I would like to be able to bring the bass to the front of the car, obviously I could put some subs up front, but lets be realistic. I feel like the bass is just stuck in the rear, and doesn't combine itself very well with my mids/highs. The subs up front though is an interesting idea, I saw a 5 series with a 12" or 15" in the floor, below the dash.
thanks

Well, what do you currently have up front and where?
Also, what do you currently have in back and where?
Do me a favor and also list your crossover points and slopes.

Why would you need a sub up front?  A woofer for bass and mid-bass, sure, but not a sub.  I use a set of 7" woofers in kick panels up front for mid-bass sound stage focus, crossed over between 80Hz and 120Hz, then to my comps at 120Hz..  Is that what you mean?

Well , i am laying plan's to run 10" s but on notch filter's(narrow). I can't find room ! I decided to go with celestion green backs. Notch them around 200hz-to 1100hz. The sub bass will come from a transducer made by crowson.

many people have never experemented with sub bass on the front stage. I say go for it! I say if you are willing to take the seat's out and do a good install, get on ebay and get you a set of   PRO BASS SHAKER'S made by aura.------whatever girl is setting next to you might tell you to turn it up^ =) I heard they vibrate the crap out of you (sub bass wise)!

I run my 10 up front and it does make a difference.  However, I don't know if it is worth all the trouble.  Running a good set of midbasses will be much easier to do.

I used to work for a guy who installed those bass shakers underneath  the seats of Porsches all the time, unfortunatley I have an amp under one and an EQ under the other so that won't be happening soon. But good idea. I find the bass sounds better when the back seat is down (obvious) so I think i want to port the back deck, maybe. I am open for suggestions, it's '94 accord, I would like to maintain as much of the stock look so no blank 6x9 grilles please, that would make 4, 6x9's ugly! kfr01; alpine cda7977, alp.mrv f407 4chan, old pioneer 6.5 comps, an eql, mtx 1000d and 2 12" 7500 mtx subs. the deck is x-over at 80 on the low pass and 120 at the high pass

Which may be your entire problem.  This means the critical bass frequencies between 80 and 120Hz are being supressed.  I suggest changing both filters to 100Hz and see if this helps your overall sound quality.

no such luck the deck only allows for 80 or 120 selections, on both hp and lp, so what now?

Try 120Hz.  The sub will become a bit directional, but at least you'll have your punch back...
