96 stratus car remote starts fine for about a week. then after u remote start and put the key in and press the brake wire a 20 amp fuse under the hood blows. it is labeled ign starter and acc. all those on one fuse... but anyway. of course after that fuse blows the car will not start. any ideas? i have not a clue

How do you have the starter hooked up??If it started fine for a week then this problem arose, maybe you have a defective piece that is back feeding ground through your ignition harness upon shutdown.

talked to the customer... she said she remotestarts the car on her cigarette breaks and then rolls the window down. not related to my fuse issue correct? windows would be on a seperate circuit. still need help with this one. thanks guys
