I was wondering if anybody knows how to use relays to turn on the radio via a remote. If someone could give me a diagram, I would greatly appreciate it.      Thanks, Chris

Basically, all you have to do is use a channel on your alarm. Connect it to a relay that will pass 12volts to you radio when activated. I had a 6 channel expander for my alarm. I used it co control neons, strobes, and my fog lights. Was pretty cool. This site has diagrams for the relays.

85 goes to ground

86 goes to alarm channel (+) to activate relay.

30 connects to B+ (12 volts)

87 connects to the radios igintion wire to turn it on.  (This terminal is for normally open)  This terminal connects to 30 when activated.

87a won't be used (this terminal is for normally closed)

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Mike Ward

Would u just splice the 87 wire to the ignition wire then? would the radio turn on by pushing the power button on the radio still?...i was looking to do the same thing.
Peace
